This stunning and rare Gents of Leicester cast iron clock was recovered from the north east and would have originally graced a railway platform or station.

This cast iron variety of Gents of Leicester clocks known as C34 were first introduced in 1914 and were designed for extreme environments.

The clocks slave movement dates the timepiece somewhere between late 1920's early 1930's

This clock has the Gents of Leicester Pul-Syn-Etic and Roman Numeral castings to the dial painted off white / cream and original black painted exterior with the lovely spade shape hour hand and arrow shaped minute hand.

The original slave movement has been retained and is powered by a low voltage modern impulse driver which can be either battery or mains powered.
