An extremely rare and sort after brass bankers lamp by John Dugdill and Co, manufactured in Great Britain circa 1920.

All Brass Construction, Square stepped base with "Rosetted" Daisy COG tensioners to the articulating joints and green vitreous enamel shade.

The lamp fully articulates at the arm joints and also pivots at the shade and on the second arm.

An early pioneer of industrial lighting in particular lamps, John Dugdill filed a number of Patents throughout the early 1900's and the signature flared tube joint detail, a simple but elegant and extremely functional design can be seen throughout all the Dugdill's lamps.

The lamp comes complete with 2.5m of black fabric flex cable, UK 3A Plug and new CE switches B22 bulb holder.
