A lovely example of an early industrial anglepoise lamp by John Dugdill & co.

This sort after version known as a bench clip standard was available in two sizes according to our original literature, this model being the larger of the two.
Two adjustable 12" arms and a 18" pillar section with a unusual cog adjuster to the clamp section.

The lamp comes complete wired with 2m of our premium knitted fabric cable in anthracite to a CE extra safe B22 switched bulb holder.

The lamp was heavily rusted when it entered the workshop.

We treated the metal work then decided to strip the lamp back to show off its roots of quality steel.
The metal work has been burnished and given a satin finish before finally sealing to protect from future oxidisation.
The aluminum lamp shade has been given a light polish.
