An exceptionally rare and impressive large Jefferson Moonstone glass pendant light, the largest size produced in this model and a true statement piece for grand interiors. The bowl is stamped and numbered 1236, as listed in The Jefferson Glass Company catalogue — the largest offering within the sought-after Doric design series.

The heavy cast brass fittings are of exceptional quality, retaining their original decorative detail and finish. The light is suspended from a four-way ceiling plate, branching to a central ring that connects to eight substantial brass link chains supporting the main ring. Running through the centre is the traditional old English twisted cable, terminating in a superb cast bronze four-way lamp holder that provides generous illumination across the large glass bowl.

There is a small section of damage to the rim of the bowl which is not visible when in place and remains structurally sound. A remarkable and imposing example of early 20th-century British craftsmanship, perfectly suited to luxury interiors or country house settings seeking scale and authenticity.
