Reclaimed Extra Large Factory Lights from Eastern Europe
These oversized industrial pendant lights once illuminated factories across eastern Europe.
Made in Poland circa 1985 by ZAKLADY METALOWE PREDOM - MESKO.
Original product plate is intact and reads model number ORP-125E
The lights have been stripped and refinished, the lower steel dished shade has been powder-coated white to the inners and olive green to the outer, the steel top section has been polished to a high sheen along with the cast aluminium gallery section.
Prismatic glass diffuser bowl sits inside the dished shade protecting the bulb and emits a beautiful diffused light.
An imposing light fitting due to its size which makes it a perfect feature light in a host of interior spaces.

About the Maker
ZAKLADY METALOWE PREDOM - MESKO was known under many different names during its existence.
Located in Skarzysko-Kamienna the original factory was launched in 1924 and acted as Polands state ammunitions factory.
From the mid 20th century into the 1970's the factory employed nearly twenty two thousand staff and products a whole host of metal products as-well as ammunitions and military weapons.
Through to the 1990's the company expanded its product of metal goods to the civilian, industry and military markets.
From 2000 to current day the main operation of the MESKO company is the manufacture of ammunition and weapons including small and medium calibre ammunition, Mortar, Artillery and Tank ammunition and Rockets and Missiles.
