A superb run of early British industrial pendants by Maxlume, complete with original maker’s transfer to the shade.
These are the classic three-part factory form — spun steel vitreous enamel reflector, separate stem section and heavy cast iron top with hook suspension. Honest, functional and beautifully proportioned.
The shades retain their original green exterior enamel with white interior, showing authentic age wear to the lower rim and edges. The black oval transfer reads:
“Maxlume Regd. Overlamp Reflector – Patented in GT Britain – British Made”
An increasingly hard maker to find in untouched condition, particularly with clear branding still present.
