A Beautiful pair of Antique Mercury Glass Pendants by Sunstar.
These beautiful angled glass pendants would of formerly illuminated a shop window display circa 1920.
The outer scalloped shades are painted in a green bearing the Sunstar logo with wonderful wear to the paintwork, the inner is finished with the silvered mercury glass giving stunning reflections, topped off with their original copper galleries.
We carried out very delicate cleaning work on the glass shades and the copper galleries were cleaned and lightly polished to bring out some elements of the copper whilst keeping the character from the years of use and wear.
These lights have bags of character and really work as a focal point in any style of room and especially work to illuminate a a feature piece of furniture of artwork.
