An attractive run of antique Holophane frosted prismatic glass light with original aged brass fittings.
Stamped Holophane galleries and rare frosted finish to the glass shades also bearing the Holophane makers marks, PAT -1909 No - 20222 model number E100.
British made circa 1930.
The Snippet from our 1936 catalogue show the various sizes and variation available in this shape shade officially known as "HOLOPHANE STILETTO REFLECTORS EXTENSIVE TYPE" which were designed to give a wide spread of intensified light for rooms with relatively low ceilings.
The model number E100 not only depicted the size of the shade but generally also related the wattage lamp recommended at the time which would of been 100 - 150 watts.
