The focus here is on the complexity of the crystal bowl. It features a "dual-cut" design: the lower hemisphere is detailed with a sharp diamond lattice for sparkle, while the upper shoulder is finished with a distinct swirl or lens cut. This combination creates a layered lighting effect, refracting the bulb's glow in multiple directions.
The glass is secured by a robust brass retaining ring that creates a strong visual border. We have preserved the natural heavy patina, leaving the metal with a deep, darkened bronze tone that speaks to its age and history, rather than polishing it back to bright gold. Its 360mm diameter makes it an ideal scale for hallways, landings, or smaller reception rooms.
