Height adjustable factory stools made in England Circa 1950 by Leabank Chairs Ltd.
Leabank were part of the Owen Group of Companies and the stools were made in the same factory as the Rubery Owens Blade Stool in Wrexham.
Rubery, Owen & Company Limited made many metal products and one such popular products were bolts, as can be seen the Leabank stools have Rubery Owens stamped bolts in the construction of the stools.
In the images you can see one of the Leabank stools being prepared in the Rubery Owens Factory.
Heavy steel construction, with plywood backed seats a foam padded cushion coated in a PVC leatherette material in grey.
The leatherette is pretty brittle due to its age and several of the stools have damage to the seat cushion, we would recommend that the stools be reupholstered.
The stools are height adjustable by simply spinning the stool top and the seat height is 410 mm at its lowest and 535 mm at their highest.
