Huge Illuminated Railway Station Clock by Pragotron
A fantastic vintage illuminated railway station wall clock.
Made in the Czech-Republic by Elektročas-Pragotron circa 1960.
Slik square steel casing powder coated in RAL 7001 Silver Grey with contrasting matt blacking fixings and illuminated face simple and unadorned with hand painted indices for the hour and minute positions.
Illumination is generated from new energy efficient LED lighting which is independently powered and can be controlled via remote or mobile app allowing simple on off switching and calendar scheduling.
The original clock hands are powered by a mains powered synchronous high torque movement.
Pragotron is a manufacturing company based in the Czech-Republic that has existed since 1953, though the company has existed under different names since the 1800s. They still exist today, under the new name of Elektročas and still supply repair services and spare parts.
A true statement piece of huge proportions emphasised by the illuminated dial.
