Reclaimed Electric Station Clock by Gents of Leicester

An striking antique painted steel railway station clock.

Made in Leicester, England circa 1920 by prolific electric clock maker Gents of Leicester.

An unusual design brass bezelled clock that would of often been seen as an insert clock into a wall but in this case is mounted to a custom rolled steel plate with hanging bracket.

An beautiful hand painted dial displaying roman numerals and marks "PULSYNETIC ELECTRIC" to indicate the movement used on the clock "GENT & CO LTD LEICESTER" the makers marks and location.

The time is displayed with Gents wonderfully designed Spade style hands often seen in their earlier clocks.

I hung with a single fixing and washer.

Installed in many public buildings such as railway, tram and bus depots along with factories and military facilities these clocks have seen decades of history pass bye and possess character that cannot be replicated.

A stunning feature piece for any wall space bring a little industrial chic that can work both private and commercial interiors.

The clock maintains its original impulse movement which would originally been controlled by a master clock which would of controlled all the clocks in the station.

We supply a modern low voltage impulse driver to run the existing movement which can be either mains or battery powered.
