A stunning vintage clock by British clockmaker Gents of Leicester, manufactured circa 1940

Their largest offering of this style with a 14 inch diameter bakelite case and 11.5" twenty four hour dial.

very clean dial with Gents of Leicester makers marks and their trademark arrow head hands.

A wonderful clock which due to its size is an ideal functioning wall feature piece in any modern interior. 

The clock retains its original slave movement which is ran via a modern impulse unit which can be mains or battery powered, alternatively we can install a modern battery quartz movement for convenience. 

The artists figure in the images is 6ft 1" to give a representation of scale but unfortunately Woody was so blown away by the clock he decided to take a little tumble, he is currently on the mend with regular doses of wood glue.
