Small Decorative Three-Arm Aged Brass Pendant Light by G.E.C
This stunning three-branch ceiling light by GEC (the General Electric Company), circa 1920, showcases an Art Nouveau-inspired design with exceptional artistry. The fabulous design features brass castings, including a large central brass globe and high-quality cast brass decorative arms.
The later artisan glass shades, crafted in Britain, beautifully complement the overall aesthetic. Their elegant bell shape and striped design pay homage to the original vaseline glass producers of Stourbridge.
The aged brass finish has acquired a wonderful dark brown tone, carefully preserved with waxing and polishing, highlighting the light's vintage charm.
The light fitting can been seen in our 1926 General Electric catalogue "Everything Electrical" named WINTHROP and was produced in two versions number F2373 which has a 12inch spread and the F2375 version with a 15 inch spread and would of been purchased as a fitting and then a choice of glass shades would of been offered.
