Vintage Reclaimed 24 Hour Bakelite Wall Clock by Chloride Gent

Small Vintage Bakelite 24 Hour Wall Clock  by Gents of Leicester

A rarely seen 24 hour dial for a small size clock.

Made in England circa 1980's by Gents of Leicester.

The dial bears the later used branding of Chloride Gent which was used after the acquisition of the Leicester company by Honeywell in the late 1970's.

The bakelite case has been cleaned and polished to expose the beautiful marbled effect of the bakelite.

The original hands have been adapted to run on a modern quartz movement for convenience and easy operation.

The clock was reclaimed from a Derbyshire school along with a large haul of other similar clocks.
