A substantial and rare flush-to-ceiling fixture sourced from the historic archives of W. Sitch & Co, Soho. This piece is defined by its architectural open-sided construction, designed to cast light upwards across the ceiling as well as downwards through the glass. The central element is a large satin crystal dome featuring deep diamond lattice cutting interspersed with smooth, lens-like oval panels, finishing with a radiant starburst cut at the apex.
The glass is supported by a heavy cast bronze frame consisting of two concentric rings connected by turned baluster columns, creating the distinctive open gallery. The metalwork retains a natural, time-worn patina that emphasizes its age and robust construction.
Fully restored, rewired, tested, and ready for installation. Wiring: We can wire this fixture to suit your location (US/UK/EU) standards.
