A fixture of impressive volume and understated elegance, sourced from the historic archives of W. Sitch & Co, Soho. The defining feature is the massive "bulbous" satin crystal dome, which measures over 420mm in diameter. The glass features a smooth, frosted finish accented by a refined band of intricate "fern" or laurel leaf cuts encircling the equator, and a delicate starburst cut at the apex.
The glass is seated in a heavy-gauge brass flush mount ring that creates a clean, architectural transition to the ceiling. The metalwork retains a deep, natural heavy patina, providing a dark, grounding contrast to the soft luminosity of the expansive glass bowl.
Fully restored, rewired, tested, and ready for installation. Wiring: We can wire this fixture to suit your location (US/UK/EU) standards.
