A vintage industrial Anglepoise lamp by British manufacturer Mek-Elek engineering ltd circa 1950.

Renowned for producing high build quality industrial lamps throughout the mid 20th century, this particular model called the Makelite features two adjustable arms with the patented geared joints and would of originally been wall mounted over an industrial workstation.

The reclaimed lamp had been exposed to the elements and there was little original paint and lots of rust so the decision was made to strip the lamp back to its base metal resulting in a beautiful satin steel finish which has been laquered to prevent it from any future oxidisation.

A new switched B22 lamp CE lamp holder has been installed and the cable comes wired with 2m of our premium cotton zigzag cable in golden honey & anthracite.

The lamp can be mounted to walls, tables even the underside of cabinets making it a perfect feature light in any interior.
