A beautiful and rare example from clock makers International Time Recording Co Ltd circa 1930.
This copper cased industrial clock was originally housed in a boot factory in Leicester, England and was removed by a worker when the factory closed in the 1980's
The original copper case has been cleaned back and polished to a high sheen, it has been left untreated so will age and patina with time, the clock dial has charming ageing that can only come from years of use.
The clock now runs using a high torque battery powered quartz movement.
This clock would be an ideal feature piece in a kitchen, especially where copper has been included in the decor.
