Synchronome were the preeminent clock maker throughout the early & mid 20th century, commercially producing the most accurate electric clocks globally despite strong competition from companies such as Gents of Leicester.
This beautiful little factory clock has a brass case which has been covered by many decades of paint and is partially exposed whilst keeping some of the layers of paint as a reminder of the clocks history.
The familiar Synchronome typeface is used on the arabic numerals along with their trademark spade hands however the makers marks seem a little more special on this piece.
The original movement had been damaged beyond repair so we have adapted the original hands to run from a battery powered quartz movement for convenience.
