Reclaimed Rare Large Brass Factory Clock by Synchronome.
A stunning large brass station clock made in England by Synchronome circa 1930.
Aged brass case, heavy patinated dial with the trademark Synchronome spade hands.
Synchronome were the preeminent clock maker throughout the early & mid 20th century, commercially producing the most accurate electric clocks globally despite strong competition from companies such as Gents of Leicester.
Original antique railway station clocks make such a statement wall decoration and one with function along with character.
The original movement was missing so the original hands have been converted to run via a high torque quartz movement, battery powered via a single AA battery.
