A stunning piece of furniture that suprisingly was recovered from an industrial setting living its life in the William Lennon shoe factory in the Derbyshire Peak District which was established in 1899.
Bags of character from years of factory use the unit consists of nine pull out drawers with stunning original aged brass cup handles and dovetail joints with an open lower section with two main doors which enclose the cabinet completley when not in use.
The cabinet has been simpathetically restored trying to retain as much originality as possible in particular trying to keep the reminance of the original pinup magazine cutouts which were presumibley stuck to the inner side of the two doors by the factory workers.
