An exquisite pair of vintage military machinist lamps manufactured in England circa 1920 by John Dugdill & Co.
Articulating Joints with steel COG tensionsers and unusual bronze clamp bases which would of likely been custom made for mounting to a piece of machinery such as a lathe.
Bases marked Dugdills and AP9103A Admiralty Patent number, these are numeric part numbers the British Admiralty used to name various pieces of naval equipment confirming the lamps were made for the Royal Navy.
The original worn paint has been retained and the existing finish has been sealed to emphasise the patina of the metal.
Price is for the pair.
