Formed in 1851 as "I.M.Singer & Company" then changed in 1863 to "Singer Manufacturing Company" and later known as "The Singer Company" it was the first real international company and primarily known for its Singer sewing machines.
In the early 1900's the company started to produce professional furniture to compliment its fast range of industrial sewing machines and a variety of stools, chairs and lamps were designed and through the first half of the century produced in the masses and widely used in factory's throughout the textile industry.
Other "SIMANCO" singer chairs, stools and lamps can be found here.
With stunning design and bags of history and character these chairs are great to use in modern interiors.
