Large Diameter Industrial Wall Clock by Ferranti Ltd 

A large painted metal cased industrial clock by English clock maker Ferranti circa 1940.

Better known for their mantle clocks Ferranti produced synchronous clocks from 1932 to 1957 from their factory based in Hollinwood, Manchester, England.

Lovely clean dial with oversized arabic numerals in a art deco inspired style with the Ferranti makers marks to the upper centre.

The original hands have been converted and now run from a high torque quartz movement powered by a single AA battery

Installed in many public buildings such as railway, tram and bus depots along with factories and military facilities these clocks have seen decades of history pass bye and possess character that cannot be replicated.

A stunning feature piece for any wall space bring a little industrial chic that can work both private and commercial interiors.
