These superb searchlights were recovered from a Rolls Royce factory in Derbyshire.
Made by (G.E.C) The General Electric Company in England circa 1950 and paired with amazing sculpture stand by Alec Tiranti Ltd from a similar time period.
These Flame Proof Lights were designed for use in highly volatile areas where exposure to sparks or electrical contact could cause explosions.
Huge heavy grade aluminium lights with superb imposing design have the makers marks and details cast into the body and rim.
The Stands are a mix of Cast Aluminium, Bronze and Steel all finished to a high polished sheen.
